Seventy percent of Americans say they would prefer to die at home, nearly 70 percent die in hospitals and institutions. Ninety percent of Americans know they should have conversations about end-of-life care, yet only 30 percent have done so. If you thought you were dying, what would matter most to you?

“Being Mortal” underscores the importance of people planning ahead and talking with family members about making these end-of-life decisions. After the screening we will have a guided discussion on how to take concrete steps to identify and communicate wishes on your own goals and preferences.

** This course has been designated by Sunrise Health System fo 2.0 credits of education in medical ethics and/or professional responsibility. **

All are welcome. We hope to see you there.
