Tonight is the last chance to catch “Being Mortal” and an opportunity to earn 2.0 credits of education in medical ethics and/or professional responsibility (2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits) – Don’t miss out!

Join us from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center, you’ll be a part of a national dialog taking place in our community that helps clinicians and individuals address difficult end-of-life decisions. “Being Mortal” delves into the hopes of patients and families facing terminal illness. The film investigates the practice of caring for the dying and explores the relationships between patients and their doctors. It follows surgeon, Dr. Atul Gawande, as he shares stories from the people and families he encounters.

After the screening, you can participate in a guided conversation, and explore what matters to you. All are welcome. We hope to see you there!

The free screening is made possible by a grant from The John and Wauna Harman Foundation in partnership with the Hospice Foundation of American. Hosted by CompassionCare Hospice and Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center.
