CompassionCare Hospice of Las Vegas, Nevada took part in Random Acts of Kindness Week. Yesterday CompassionCare donated pillows to Veterans Village in Downtown Las Vegas.Veterans Village of Downtown Las Vegas is committed to serving those who have served our country and therefore us with respect and dignity. Veterans Village is a nonprofit organization able to provide transitional and permanent housing residencies to US Veterans. With the help of many other organizations, they are also able to provide supplies and services to residents including housing, medical and mental health services, employment training, referrals and placements, food pantry/nutrition programs and transportation to the VA Hospital and primary care clinics. Mr. Arnold Stalk is co-founder of Veterans Village Las Vegas. He was responsible for reconstructing and refurbishing a run down motel to provide a safe and clean environment to our US Veterans at little or no cost. We think it is only fair to spread kindness to them since they do so much already. Take the time to notice the good all around you. Notice the little stuff. CompassionCare does. Kindness is the antidote to all the bad stuff. Kindness can turn any bad situation around to good. Negativity is no longer negativity with kindness.
